My name is Jim Wehmeier. I'm a practical artist associated with the maker movement centered around Make Magazine. |
The maker movement is also associated with ideas of ownership in the age of cheaper mass production modifying the objects around ones-self to fit our individual needs and giving resources to empower the consumer.
Additionally, recycling is another important aspect; fixing what is broken rather than replacing and transforming what is broken and turning it into something useful.
This blog will include the different artistic endeavors that I've participated in including performance, drawings, and sculpture.
